About

Raymond McLeod (Farms) Limited was formed in Braintree, Essex in 1964 by Raymond McLeod. In 1966 he purchased Longham Hall and his son Neil gradually took over running the farm. Over the years, we have diversified into activities complementary with the arable farm at Longham. We now import a substantial amount of timber from Europe, America , Canada , Africa and the Far East . We concentrate on a few big customers who sometimes stop using special sizes of timber so we are able to offer these. We also operate a gravel extraction and recycling operation on our farm in conjunction with Tarmac. Again, we are able to offer one tonne bags of various aggregates and recycled aggregates. We are a small family business who concentrates on personal service.
