NORWICH HOUSING SOCIETY Independent Living, with Support Senior Scheme Manager Full-time, Permanent Salary Range: Circa £24,000 pa plus Social Housing Pension Scheme. Due to the impending retirement of the current post holder the Board are seeking to appoint a Senior Scheme Manager. The successful candidate will ideally have supervisory experience of working in a Housing Support role with older people, and will liaise closely with the other Scheme Managers to deliver a high quality tenant-focused service, keeping our residents safe and well in their own homes. They will participate in the prospective tenant approval process, oversee Scheme security and operations, and be able to respond to unexpected incidents. Applicants will need to be excellent communicators and have the ability to lead a small team as well as the tact and authority to resolve issues appropriately. A clean driving licence, good I.T. skills and an understanding of Health & Safety law and the welfare benefits system is also required.
